About us..

Palms Kickers provides football coaching to children aged 2 years to 12 years, through a range of age and skill based programs. The programs provide an introduction to ball sports through to skill and technique development in the game of football. Palms Kickers uses the game of football to help players from 2 years to build upon their; cooperation, sharing and teamwork skills; confidence, communication and social skills; decision making and problem solving skills; concentration skills; cognitive skills, and their balance, flexibility and strength.

Palms Kickers was started with a passion for the game of football, a desire to grow and develop football opportunities for young people and to provide a service to the growing communities surrounding the Pacific Palms, where there is a lack of local sporting opportunities for the ages 2 years to 5 years and limited opportunities for ages 6 years to 12 years outside the football season.

Palms Kickers runs Introduction to Football, Preseason Skill and Fitness Development Programs and year-round Skill Development Programs, Elite Footballers one-on-one and small group sessions and Football Holiday Camps.

Palms Kickers group programs and one-on-one sessions run throughout the NSW school terms, school holiday camps run during the NSW school holidays.

Introducing Coach Jamie

Coach Jamie Collins has had a successful playing career in the NSW NPL Leagues, NSW Super League and NSW State League 1. Jamie’s former clubs included Manly United, North Shore Mariners and Northbridge FC.

Jamie is a School Teacher with over 10 years experience and an accredited football coach for almost 20 years, coaching on a one-on-one, team and holiday camp basis from little ones up to First Grade Mens and Womens.

Jamie has experience in the Skills Acquisition Program at North Shore Mariners and has coached players who have gone on to play in the A League, the W League and represent Australia.

Jamie now plays and coaches for the Pacific Palms Panthers Football Club and as a father of three, Jock (6 years), Isla (3 years) and Hamish (8 months), is passionate about growing and developing the opportunities for Little Palmys to enter and develop in the sport he loves.
